Newest addition to the Monroe Village team of residents and supporters is Kevin Cooney.

A Boston native, Kevin recently moved to Rochester and currently serves as South East Area Coalition’s ‘Street Manager.’ As Street Manager, Kevin’s duties include nurturing and increasing business on Monroe Avenue, as well as working with neighbors to improve the quality of life along this busy, eclectic commercial corridor.

Prior to joining SEAC, Kevin served as Regional Marketing Coordinator for Zipcar Boston (world’s largest car-sharing company.) And for almost eight years Kevin was a journalist for a Boston-area daily newspaper. A Monroe Village resident, Kevin is also a published author and web journalist.
